Dr. BJ Paige is a nationally recognized Workforce Development Motivational Speaker, specializing in empowering postsecondary youth. With a diverse skill set as a Motivational Influencer, Master Workshop Facilitator, Author, and Career Coach, he has earned numerous accolades for his dedication to serving at-risk and underserved youth and young adults. Based in Prince George's County, Maryland, BJ has been honored with the Inaugural Social Justice Trailblazer Award from the Washington Commanders and G-Unity Foundation, the DMV 48 Men of Power award, and the Greater Washington Community Foundation Emerging Leadership Award. His commitment to the community has been further recognized through awards such as Top Forty Under 40, The Maryland General Assembly Official Citation for Community Commitment, and the Citizen of the Year from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Dr. BJ Paige's impact extends beyond accolades, as he has been presented with the "Real Good People Award" from radio station WPGC 95.5 and has made significant contributions to society in various impactful ways.

BJ has partnered with several civic based programs from feeding the underserved; assisting Returning Citizens transition back to the community, working with Youth Advocate Programs (YAP); NAACP Youth Council Advisor-Prince George's County Branch, Founder of Boys 2 Bowties, a program for at-risk youth in Washington, DC's toughest surrounding areas.

In his current role, provides a host of professional development workshops for organizations across the country with The Paige Group. He also has tremendous success with transforming schools with his ‘Shool Invasion’ initiative.
With all of those positive things being said, raised by a single Mother, BJ has made it through some of the toughest times. He was expelled from two jurisdictions in his Junior year of high school. He lost his scholarships to college. Once in the military, trouble found him again where he was in a jail cell. That is where he began to plan for success. Upon being released, BJ found it hard to find a career. He worked in just about every career field that you can think of – sales, hospitality, utilities, education, mechanic and more. One day he found himself in an interview where he was asked about workforce development. With a natural way of finding jobs for himself, he found a new career; helping others find their career. This is where everything shifted. BJ helped just over 4,000 postsecondary youth find a career home. In that process he realized that if he helped the youth learn this early, they would have a better chance of success. BJ's natural space of help is in the educational system, where he helps both teachers and students find a way to be great together.
